Initial Consultation

Service Description

Our Initial Lactation Consultation is a comprehensive, one-on-one session designed to support you and your baby on your breastfeeding feeding journey. Whether you're preparing to breastfeed, experiencing challenges, or simply looking for reassurance, this consult provides tailored support to meet your breastfeeding goals. During the 90-120 minute session, we will: -discuss your birth and feeding history -observe a breastfeed and assess latch, positioning and milk transfer -perform a baby weight check -address concerns such as nipple pain, low supply, over supply, mastitis, pumping -develop a personalised feeding plan (provided within 24hrs of consultation) -provide education and resources for continued support This consultation is available in-home and includes 2 weeks of email support.
